Story Time: Meet Sprout and Noodles!

These nervous little puppies came to us a few weeks ago and were super anxious, nervous and generally reactive to everything. We couldn’t even take their harnesses off without a little bit of drama 🙃 but after a TON of TLC especially from our big man Mr.T these two have settled in nicely and integrate so well into the group!

A little bit of a damper Christmas this year as one of our oldest team members had an emergency and had to get surgery at the very last moment. Thankfully he seems fine and will likely make a full recovery!

As I’m home hunting in Dubai (Tilal Al Ghaf agents hit me up!), I’ve been stumbling across all these cute community dog parks which are completely empty during the day 🩵

One of our team members came up with the BRILLIANT idea 💡 of taking some of the small pups who are with us for Daycare and Boarding to the parks for a little play — we experimented today and OMG IT WAS THE BEST TIME EVER 🤩

Introducing the SPOT! Park Plays 🩵

Since these are part of the community - we won’t charge for entry, just a small fee for transport there and back to cover our costs (assuming they actually want to leave 😉) and once we are done with the park we’ll leave it super duper clean - just how we found it! The pups have a great day and the park gets good utilization—win win!

Ace 🩵

Ace was a SPOT! regular, along with his sister - let’s call her, Bebe. Ace and Bebe were absolutely wonderful little pups - just the best energy. One day Ace’s parents decided to leave them with us, and to cut a looooong story short - never came back. We never heard from them ever again 😢.

That btw, happened over a year ago! 💔

We tried SO hard to rehome him, but everytime we did, something got in the way - the floods, the summer, mismatch on homes. Over the last year he’s been under our care (and if we are being honest, brought a lot of joy to all the team)

Finally — Ace flies to Amsterdam tonight ✈️ to meet his new parents and what we hope will be a forever home for this wonderful little boy!

Ace has taught us and (me personally) so many lessons about perseverance, and moving forward always, against all odds. He will be in my prayers tonight and I hope he has the most amazing flight and next steps on his journey!

We routinely take on projects - sometimes a customer looses their job and needs support to get back on their feet - without effecting their pups lives, sometimes a pup or a whole litter of pups gets dumped at our doorstep, whatever it is, we will always have space and a place in our hearts and play areas for whatever life throws our way 🩵 As a member of the community, it’s the right thing to do.

It can’t be GO GO GO!

We tend to take a unique and more organic approach and spend our afternoons creating downtime by changing the energy of the room to one that’s a little more calm and quiet.

Today was reading day ✨ you can see the energy immediately shift within minutes while allowing the pups to stay social. It’s the small things ✨🩵

Some daycares rotate their pups into kennels for the afternoon - which we dont agree with as it’s the lazy thing to do, and somewhat anti-social.

When selecting your daycare, ask the front desk team, how do the handlers manage downtime ☺️ you’ll be surprised at some of the answers you get back!
